Reverend Don Overbeek has been our pastor since October 2007. He, his wife Jodi, and their three children come from Grand Rapids, MI in the United States.

Pastor Overbeek graduated from Hope College (B.A.) and Puritan Reformed Seminary (M.Div.) in preparation for sacred ministry. His theological areas of interest include the doctrine of the Trinity and biblical theology in the line of Geerhardus Vos.

Truths we hold dear
We aim to root all our beliefs in the authoritative Word of God. Since we are a Reformed church, we trace our heritage back to the 16th century teachings of the European Reformers, especially John Calvin. Reformed thought really stretches further back than Calvin to St. Augustine and ultimately to the teachings of the apostle Paul.

Catechisms and creeds give us a failthful representation of Bible teaching. We subscribe to the Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession of Faith, and The Cannons of Dort, as well as agreeing with the Westminster Standards.

Bible subjects and themes
We are compiling Reformed resources from our church or informative websites that deal with applying the truths of Scripture to current issues. We are not endeavoring to be exhaustive, but supply a point of departure for developing a Reformed perspective.
